About Me

Robert John Guttke: I have been an artist my whole life because I couldn't be anything else. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and received my BFA degree from Rockford College in Illinois. I studied art history, drawing, sculpture and photography. After graduation I settled in Minneapolis and exhibited work locally as well as across the country. My photographs were first seen as note cards and calendars by Museum Graphics (the family owned business of Ansel Adams) followed by twenty years of imagery published by various graphics companies around the world.
